Training course

Master Class in Business Administration

Mission, strategy, business plan, objectives, organization and processes form a single chain. In an eight-hour workshop you walk the whole of it, with real cases and the experience of someone who has managed it, and you leave with the factors that decide whether a company works.

  • 8 hours over two afternoons, in person in Madrid
  • For managers: from the CEO to the team lead
  • Interactive workshop: we work on the attendees' own cases
  • Small group: 15 people at most
  • Taught by Javier Pascual

Hands-on, applied training

A company is a chain. It breaks at the link nobody is watching.

Running a company, a department or a team means deciding with incomplete information about things that are connected: strategy shapes the organization, the organization shapes the processes, the processes shape the results, and the results feed back into strategy.

This master class walks that chain from end to end and stops where it tends to break: the challenges, threats and success factors of the organization, of processes and their digitalization, of management by objectives, of the business plan, of people's motivation and of change.

It is a workshop, not a lecture. The syllabus adapts to the time available and to the needs of the people in the room.

Who it is for

Who is this course for?

Profile

Managers in general. We cover management factors that affect everyone from the CEO to the most junior manager in the company: those who run a business, those who lead a department and those who have just taken on a team.

Where you are today

You need no previous training in business administration. You need experience of your own to put on the table: the workshop works when attendees share their cases, and the content is adjusted to the audience of each edition.

Learning outcomes

By the end of the course you will be able to

How the course is taught

Format

An interactive, in-person workshop. Eight hours over two afternoons is the minimum length; both the length and the syllabus are adjusted to the time available and to the needs of the audience.

Approach

Questions are put to the group and attendees share their own experience. In each area the instructor adds his own: examples, results both good and bad, guidance and success factors.

Who teaches it

Javier Pascual. In the workshop he shares his management experience, with examples, results both good and bad, guidance and success factors in each area, rather than academic theory.

Requirements

None of a technical nature. The workshop is designed for most attendees to take part in person: come with a case from your own company in mind.
